Monitor Mount without Arms
It is suitable for users who have limited desk space but need to browse more information at the same time. The overall adjustability of the monitor mount without arms is relatively low, and the higher the pole is, the greater the weight of the lever generated, making it unsuitable for installing large monitors.
Articulating Monitor Arm
The articulating arms offer more combinations of left and right extensions to greatly enhance the flexibility and practicality of the setup. However, the arm only has an extension function and cannot align screens of different brands/sizes. Even if the same model of screen is used, the screen may not be aligned due to different lever weights.
Gas Spring Monitor Arm
It allows the monitor to be adjusted in 3-dimensional space, and the weight of the monitor is balanced by the force generated by the gas spring mechanism, so that the monitor can be easily moved to the ideal position.
It is a perfect solution to the problem of monitor misalignment. The gas spring system supports the convenience of adjusting the monitor height with one hand to keep the monitor in the best viewing range, suitable for the latest large ultra-wide curved monitors.
Note: The models listed in this article are for your convenience only and are not intended to fit your work environment or screen. By using two monitor arm products together, you can achieve more monitor configurations. For example: use two dual monitor arm products to achieve a four monitors workstation.
Before we begin, please refer to the five basic tips for purchasing a monitor arm products:
VESA mounting standard interface
The VESA Association has established a worldwide standard for mounting a monitor or TV. Manufacturers around the world design the monitor’s cases with four square screw holes at the center of gravity on the back of the monitor case.
The most common sizes of monitor arms are 75 x 75 mm and 100 x 100 mm VESA standard. The quickest way to verify that a monitor is VESA compliant is to check the back of the monitor’s case for the four screw holes.
Correctly measuring the monitor size
Please add the bezel thickness to the screen width and height. When the industry marks the size of a screen or TV, they usually write the diagonal length of the "panel" and do not include the bezel. The actual screen width and height may vary for the same 32" screen.
Check the weight of the monitor
The monitor arms have weight limits. When purchasing a monitor arm, it is recommended that you consider a product with a load weight 2 to 3 kg heavier than the monitor weight without a stand.
Pros and cons of c-clamp mount
- Pros: Clamp the monitor arm base on the edge of the table, it is suitable for the table without an obstacle and will not cause any damage.
- Cons: None.
Pros and cons of grommet mount
- Pros: Drill a hole anywhere on the table and bolt the monitor arm base from the bottom of the table.
- Cons: At least a 3 cm diameter hole is required in the desktop.

Examples of dual monitor arms - the secret of boosting your productivity
When selecting a dual monitor arm, it is important to consider the length or height of the arm in relation to the standard VESA interface between the monitors.
The greater the arm value is in relation to the VESA distance of the monitors, the greater the operability of the monitor can be adjusted, and the more flexible the workstation can be.

Examples of triple monitor arms - an immersive experience of SIM racing
The most common setup is one in which the main screen is centered and the two side screens are curved inward toward the user.
The wrap-around effect blocks out some of the environmental distractions, allowing the eyes to focus entirely on work or play. The longer the arm of the stand used in this setup, the better the effect, but the relative weight of the lever will be greater, so it is necessary to use higher quality products to ensure stability.
